In September 2011 we held an exhibition featuring pots by Mike Dodd, one of the finest studio potters in the UK.
Also accompanying the exhibition was a 64 page monograph, featuring an essay by David Whiting and photographs of the pots and Dodd at work in his studio. We also produced a short film of Dodd in his home and workshop where he explained a little about his working methods and the principles behind his pots.
It is about picking up a pot with just the right weight, individual feel and texture that makes it different, makes one want to use it everyday.
