This week’s roundup film from the Goldmark Gallery features news of our upcoming Jim Malone exhibition plus new work in the gallery, including screenprints by John Piper, ceramics by Bruce McLean, and a new set of 80 guinomis by gallery potter Phil Rogers.
Check out below some of the wonderful new items to have arrived at the gallery this week:
We’ve two current exhibitions planned at the gallery at the moment: the first, our Picasso exhibition showcasing his many exceptional print suites, is already open and up on the walls of the gallery front room; the second, our exhibition of ceramics by Jim Malone, is due to open on Saturday 17th September.
If you can’t make it there, don’t worry – all the work in the show will be making its way onto our website soon, with a small number of pots already uploaded here.
We’ve also had delivery of several stunning new works by various artists over the last week or so, the best of which we’ve pulled out in our short film above.
Amongst this week’s Discover posts we highlighted our recent Profile of British artist Eric Ravilious. Ravilious was an outstanding painter, printmaker and designer equally adept at producing commercial illustrations and wartime paintings.
You can read about his tragically short life here, or alternatively check out our other posts from this week: a studio tour of Jim Malone’s Cumbria pottery workshop, and our in depth look at Picasso’s awesome Portraits Imaginaires.
