In case you hadn’t noticed on our recent social media accounts, the Goldmark Gallery is now on Periscope, a live broadcasting service which lets you watch us streaming live directly from the gallery. Here’s a short preview of the sort of broadcasts we hope to be doing.
In the last week we filmed two live streams as we unwrapped new pots by the wonderful Frech potter Jean-Nicolas Gérard and a small selection of new ceramics by Lisa Hammond MBE. After popular demand from those who missed the streams, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be uploading all our broadcasts to our Discover films page for our readers to see – starting with our two most recent streams which you can find here and here.
So far we have trialled broadcasting from our recent exhibitions – Rigby Graham: A Celebration, Sid Burnard, and Richard James – so that all our customers who are unable to make it to the show can still experience some of the opening day with us and see the extraordinary work in situ.
We’re also very excited about showing our huge ceramics fans new pots, freshly unpacked and as yet unseen, and hope to regularly stream tours of the fast-growing ceramics department here at the gallery and the enormous number of pots that we stock.
To make sure you don’t miss our broadcasts when they happen, you can follow us on Periscope at www.periscope.tv/goldmarkgallery or on the mobile Periscope app. We’ll also be hosting every stream on our Twitter page – twitter.com/goldmarkgallery – and we’ll post updates in advance on Twitter and Facebook to let you know when we’ll be going live.
New pots from the recent broadcasts will be up on the website in the next few weeks – in the meantime, you can check out some of Jean-Nicolas’ work below.
